The model AVT116P video transceiver is passive (non-amplified) device that allows the transmission of real-time monochrome (B/W) or color video via Unshielded Twisted-Pair(UTP) cable.Baseband (composite) signals of any type are supported.
The UTP116P can be used as both transmitter and receiver.As transmitter,the unit receives sixteen channles video from cameras as well as sends out sixteen channels video signals .While as receiver, the unit receives sixteen channels video signal from transmitters as wll as provides sixteen BNC video outputs. With working with passive transceivers (e.g.AVT101P AVT104P) and active transmitter (e.g.AVT101AT) UTP104P allow signals transmission up to 300m and 600m respectively.
The unparalleled interference rejection and low emissions of the AVT116P allow video signals to co-exist in the same wire bundle as telephone, datacom, or low-voltage power circuits. This allows the use of a shared or existing cable plant.
